We’re back with our semi-annual Pub Quiz, and this time? We timed it perfectly with Europe Day 2026; celebrating unity, values, and democracy. Around 16 teams (that’s 64 students!) from across faculties and degree programs at FAU showed up at Kanape with major enthusiasm – ready to nail the quizzes and, of course, win the grand prize: four Interrail tickets! Oh, and the FAU International Office also pulled up to make the night even bigger, bringing unique FAU merch for the bonus question winners.
The competition? Lively. Supportive. And yeah, a little chaotic – especially when some questions felt nearly impossible to crack. But guess what? They did it anyway!

**Question 2:** Who are the 4 vice presidents of FAU? (Answer below)
This isn’t just about luck. It’s about teamwork, team knowledge, and persistence.
The night ended with two rounds of re-battle between Team Bunter Haufen and Les Quizerables – the two squads who locked in the highest scores (30/60) till the very end. In the end, Les Quizerables secured the winner’s title by answering a head‑scratcher of a question: “How many registered farms are there in the EU?”
Here’s the thing, the quizzes weren’t designed to be impossible. They were made to remind us how wide and rich Europe really is. In culture. History. Politics. Geography. Science. Pop culture. and Sports.
So beyond just winning the competition, all of us, young people like you, got to refresh and broaden our knowledge about the EU. And maybe, just maybe, we discovered where we can step in and contribute through our own expertise.
